Games streaming... Not only you get display lag but also input lag

ravfx:xmr.mx:
But hey, that shitty expérience is available on Lunix now!!!!!

ravfx:xmr.mx:
I do prefer runing the whole thing at home on my Lunix even if its missrendering, than using stupid game streaming service

I much preferred doing my own setup game streaming thingy with sunshine and moonlight

For the Gizmodo article - I feel validated. That is precisely why I was uneasy about "KYC on initial purchase doesn't matter because Monero provides the privacy"! Because the fact THAT you bought crypto is, unless you're doing "interesting" transactions, just as valuable as where you spent it.

Also geforce now? LOL I can only imagine using that, given that even a flac album always takes quite a while to download with my connection)

a convo from https://matrix.to/#/!eBgZCVRnRRkKchiYzS:monero.social/$oygcLp_MC0fBQaARshwJybh1OdXE2WyRZbZFor4nAOs, regarding Bluesky success, I think it actually failed considering one of its merit was decentralization

They even implemented age verification for their server

so a win for larger AP-powered fediverse

> from what I've heard, it'd require a lot more resources to host a "proper" server - BlueyHealer
16:18:09
gan:skhron.org:
depends, that ultimately depends on the server software implementation, as far as I'm aware there exist lighter ATproto servers
16:18:09
BlueyHealer:
How is age verification aka KYC a win in any way?
16:18:36
gan:skhron.org:
BlueyHealer: It's a win in context that AP-powered fediverse doesn't have it
16:18:59
gan:skhron.org:
while the largest ATproto instance does
16:19:44
BlueyHealer:
But from what I've heard - maybe I'm missing some details - hosting an instance would require a huge amount of at least storage compared to a Mastodon one.
16:38:23
gan:skhron.org:
Oh, I don't remember to be honest

I should look that up, I've seen articles dissecting this

Since my infrastructure is very low-cost, I’ve focused mainly on reading and writing use cases, with a strong emphasis on censorship bypassing.[... more lines follow, see https://mrelay.p2pool.observer/e/lIP2vdsKTTN3bnJU ]
